For those who’ve taken an interest in body building, it takes a lot of dedication and commitment. The first step is having a plan and a support system to keep you on track. While some people opt to using those bulk up powders, those are actually a bit more of a hindrance than they are help if you’re not using them properly. It’s much easier (and healthy) to choose a clean eating recipe(s) and diet plan and stick with that. For those that prefer the later of the two methods, we’ll talk about some great meals that will have you set up for lunch, dinner, and even breakfast.
Body building meals
A great starter meal for breakfast can be eggs, cereal (oatmeal), and a banana. Eggs are a great method to get all the protein you need and not only does it taste good, but it’s a great way to start on building body mass. The banana is great for the nutrients that the body can get from it and also helps the other organs in the body to keep from losing muscle mass. Cream of wheat is filling to say the least (in a healthy way,) and provides the body with energy. It’s suggested that when you may the eggs use only the egg whites as their lower in calories and to drop more calories you can use a cup of strawberries instead of the banana.
A great lunch can be made up of something as simple as ground beef, pasta and broccoli. The beef should be bought in extra lean and only prepare about six to nine ounces. The purpose of the beef is great for building muscles, has all the essential proteins and vitamins necessary. Much like the cream of wheat, it’s also great for providing the body with the energy it needs. Pasta is only recommended at having no more than two cups and is meant for keeping up your energy levels, so it provides the body with the carbs it needs. Broccoli is your go to vegetable and you should consume at least ¾ a cup. Broccoli other than being a great vegetable, will be what helps fight against fat.
Finally, let’s talk dinner, there is a nice and healthy choice we’ve come up with that will be a great way to end your day. By cooking just one chicken breast, one yam and a cup each of peas, corn, and carrots, you’ll be set. This great food trio is perfect for providing your proteins and working with the sugar in your body that is perfect for building on muscle growth. Much like the broccoli, yams will help control body fat and the vegetables help with providing nutrients. However, you can rid of the combination of vegetables and combine it with a much healthier portion of green beans. Green beans of course are a better choice as they won’t amount to nearly as much calories as the vegetable combination, but either will do.
